EllaLink provides the first-ever high-capacity direct fibers between the two continents with points of presence in Sines, Madrid, Lisbon, Marseille, Barcelona, Fortaleza, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and onward connectivity to the USA, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

With this partnership, DE-CIX will provide access to the largest carrier and data center neutral interconnection ecosystem in Southern Europe, through their IXs in Lisbon, Madrid, and Marseille.
EllaLink is a founder of Sines Tech - Innovation & Data Center Hub, alongside the City of Sines and ourselves, aicep Global Parques, the Portuguese state-owned enterprise managing the land hosting the hub.
EllaLink inspired us to set up a CLS and DC costal area in SW Portugal.
Sines Tech was born with an excellent geographic positioning, in Europe’s West Coast, at the intersection of the major links connecting the Western Hemisphere. Building on a favourable seashore for cable landing, we work on providing fast licensing and strong backhaul, scalable land, sweet and sea water, grid connection and renewable power.
The decision to partner with EllaLink at a strategic level to support institutions worldwide to access robust, ultra-low latency connectivity and infrastructure between Europe and Latin America has proved extremely productive.
These routes between Sao Paulo, Lisbon and Madrid open up a wide range of possibilities for BSO to better serve proprietary trading firms, capital banks, and hedge funds, along with the Oil & Gas sector and professional gaming community.
This direct low latency link spanning Europe & South America also provides diversity options to the legacy sub-sea systems traversing North America, playing a pivotal role in BSO's ability to deliver a market leading solution for mission critical client services.
