EulaLink are developing a number of additional subsea cable systems in order to extend their network further to meet the increased traffic demand to and from French Guyana and Columbia, GuyaLink and CariLink.
GuyaLink will bring the addition of connectivity to French Guyana to EllaLink’s Customers. A Branching Unit in the EllaLink System enables traffic to route to Kourou via a two-fiber pair branch known as GuyaLink. 2,141km in length, GuyaLink will have an initial design capacity of 12Tbps.
The CariLink System will extend GuyaLink from French Guiana (Kourou) to Columbia (Cartagena). With a system length of 3,604km CariLink will consist of two (2) fibre pairs with a design capacity of 10Tbps on day one.
